On August 6th, the opening ceremony of the "Guangzhou-Israel Biotechnology Incubation Base" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guangzhou-Israel Base"), jointly hosted by the Guangzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Investment Group and the Biotech Island (China-Israel Cooperation Zone) Administration Committee, and co-organized by the Guangzhou Office of Innovation and Technology Cooperation in Tel Aviv, Guangzhou International Biotech Island Science and Technology Investment and Development Co., Ltd., and the Guangzhou-Israel Biotechnology Industry Investment Fund, was held at the Guangzhou International Biotech Island.

The first two incubation projects settled in the China-Israel Base are new drugs for treating infantile hemangiomas and medical devices for screening and diagnosing children with ADHD. Li Qingfeng, deputy director of Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, a partner of the China-Israel Base, believes that the China-Israel Base will become the best platform for the transfer and incubation of hospital innovation results under the framework of international cooperation. Transformation and landing projects represented by smart phone cases and ADHD smart diagnosis software will actively explore industrial transformation models and innovative cooperation mechanisms.

As a key operational platform under the latest China-Israel strategic cooperation framework, the China-Israel Biotech Base will prioritize collaboration and development in the biotech sector. Drawing inspiration from Israel's proven success models, it aims to drive institutional innovation while consolidating strategic partnerships and resources. Supported by Guangzhou Municipality and Guangzhou Development District, the facility has completed its renovation and welcomed its first cohort of incubation projects.
